Project Overview

Before it became a product, it was a problem: retail shoppers often faced friction while managing their in-store purchases — juggling bags, limited mobility, and a desire for a more seamless journey.

Together with VNGRS, we built a system-first solution to eliminate this pain point: a hands-free delivery experience that integrates directly into the physical shopping flow, letting customers shop freely while their purchases are delivered either to a pickup point or their doorstep.

The Challenge

We weren’t building for a single brand. We were designing a flexible service infrastructure — something that could adapt across malls, stores, and logistic partners without being tied to a specific identity or interface.

The Solutions

We created a modular experience composed of

Customer Interface: A simple, scan-to-send web app where shoppers could scan a code at checkout and choose a delivery option. No sign-up required.

Store Panel: A lightweight admin interface allowing staff to track, verify, and manage outbound deliveries in seconds.

Delivery Coordination: Background workflows that integrated with third-party logistics providers, managing routes, time slots, and customer updates.

The Outcome

During pilots in large shopping malls, the hands-free system increased both customer satisfaction and in-store conversion. Users perceived it as a premium service; stores adopted it as a differentiator.
